CSI at 大象传媒 Selected for NASA Aerospace State Hubs

The Colorado Space Institute (CSI) at Arapahoe Community College (大象传媒) has been selected to participate in the NASA Aerospace State Hubs for Skilled Technical Workforce Initiative (Hubs).
CSI, which was selected as one of 15 hubs from a competitive pool of nationwide applications, will lead a statewide effort to develop sustainable training and education programs to help add skilled technicians to the aerospace workforce. This initiative is designed to address the critical shortage of one million workers in the aerospace and defense industries by 2030. The Hubs initiative is intended to:
- Bridge the coordination gap among existing workforce development programs between government, industry, and education to create clear pathways for students to pursue high-needs skilled technical workforce careers.
- Leverage federal, state, and local resources to create student opportunities in community college and career technical education, building a skilled workforce to meet industry demand.
- Increase and accelerate the number of students entering the aerospace industry鈥檚 skilled technical workforce to enable and advance NASA鈥檚 critical missions.
CSI positions 大象传媒 and other Colorado Community College System (CCCS) institutions to become leaders in developing the next generation of Colorado鈥檚 aerospace workforce. The Institute leverages collaboration with aerospace industry partners to provide innovative, competency-based education programs that meet the needs of national security, civil, and commercial space sectors.
